About Who Owns Care
Who Owns Care is an independent post-acute ownership, transaction and counterparty intelligence product. It resolves who owns and operates Medicare-certified nursing homes, home health agencies and hospices, then connects that ownership map to cost-report, quality, risk and change-of-ownership evidence. It is operated by TechStack Consulting LLC, a Texas limited liability company.
What Decision It Supports
Before acquiring, financing, advising, selling to or investigating a post-acute provider, investors, lenders, advisers, operators and healthcare vendors use Who Owns Care to understand who controls it, what else is connected, what changed and where the risk sits.
What It Covers
Seven states (Texas, California, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Illinois), 16,019 facilities, 3,683 resolved operating families and 58,818 typed relationships, rebuilt from each CMS release.
How It Is Different
- Every relationship is typed and sourced; a lender is never shown as an operator.
- Financial figures keep their exact reporting periods and are never annualised.
- Partial coverage is always stated as a share of eligible facilities.
- Acquisition effects are described as what followed a transfer, not what it caused.
Independence and Corrections
Who Owns Care accepts no payment from operators for placement or removal. Corrections with supporting documents are reviewed and applied in the next rebuild; write to support@whoownscare.com.
