Relationship types are preserved exactly as filed (owner_direct, operator, manager, parent, property_owner, lender, lienholder, trustee). Lenders and property owners are never flattened into operators.
What the Dataset Answers That the Free Pages Do Not
The free facility pages tell you who owns one facility. The dataset gives you the whole state at once: every facility paired with its owner organisation and corporate family, the ownership percentages and association dates behind each pairing, and every recorded change of ownership with both parties.
